Warrantech Corporation is a leader and innovator in the field of service contracts and extended warranties on automotive and consumer products. The coverage programs it develops and administers enable Warrantech?s business clients to provide a value-added service to their customers and to earn much needed incremental revenue on their sales.

Warrantech Corporation has three major business segments: Automotive, Consumer Products and International. The first two operate exclusively in North America.

The Automotive segment markets and administers extended warranties on automobiles, light trucks, recreational vehicles and automotive components. These products are sold principally by franchised and independent automobile dealers, leasing companies, repair facilities, retail stores and financial institutions.

The Consumer Products segment markets and administers service contracts (and extended warranties) on household appliances, consumer electronics, computers and peripherals, and major mechanical systems within homes. These products are sold principally by retailers, distributors, manufacturers, utility companies and financial institutions. Warrantech also markets these products directly to the ultimate consumer through telemarketing and direct-mail campaigns. The International segment markets and administers service contracts and extended warranties on a similar range of products abroad. It has operations in Central and South American, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
