Though a small company in terms of revenue, Teton is the only publicly traded 'pure play' on Russian oil. Virtually 100% of its 33 million barrels of proved and probable oil reserves are located in Russia - specifically western Siberia, not far from the giant Somotlor field. With its partners, Teton holds a 25-year (22 remaining) license to exploit reserves in three different fields in western Siberia. Teton has been operating in Russia for several years, utilizing Russian labor and on-site management as well as building the contacts and infrastructure necessary to successfully operate in the Russian Federation as a small company. 2002 revenues were $6.9 million, up from $1.6 million in 2001.
