Amarin Pharmaceuticals Inc. based in San Francisco, is focused on the sales and marketing of Amarin's US product portfolio utilizing a specialty neurology sales force.

Amarin Development AB, based in Malmo, Sweden, is dedicated to advanced product development and reformulation using oral and site-specific drug delivery solutions.

Amarin's leading product is Permax®, a dopamine agonist, used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. In addition, Amarin owns a portfolio of primary care products which includes treatments for tension headache, obesity and diarrhea.

Amarin's product development pipeline includes Zelapar™ for Parkinson's disease, for which an approvable letter has been received from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US, and LAX-101 for Huntington's Disease, currently in Phase III clinical trials in the US.
