Company Profile: VitalLabs, Inc. (VILB)
VitalLabs (BB:VILB) is the parent of Med Tech Labs, Inc., which provides diagnostic medical testing services to physician practices in central and southwest Florida under the name of Med Services of America. The Company's operations employ approximately 150 people who either work out of the laboratory facility located in Clearwater, Florida, or work out of 1 of the 22 draw stations servicing the west coast of Florida.
On April 5, 2002, the stockholders of the Med Tech Labs, Inc. exchanged all of their shares of stock in Monogram Pictures, Inc. The Company changed its name to VitalLabs, Inc.
Med Services of America resulted from the merger of the two largest independent community laboratories into a single formidable full-service community laboratory.
Med Services of America is accredited by all applicable Federal and State Licensing Agencies and is affiliated with the College of American Pathologists. Its staff members are proactive in community technical groups as well as several international and professional organizations such as AACC, ASCP, NCCLS, ASM, and CLMA.
On August 29, 2002, VitalLabs announced it entered into employment agreements with the two sole stockholders of Bayshore Laboratories in Pasco County, Florida. The employment agreements require the employees to provide 100% of Bayshore's book of physician clinical laboratory business to VitalLabs. The business is estimated to initially add over $1,000,000 to VitalLabs' annual gross revenue.
