Dutton & Associates, LLC securities analysts are selected and qualified based on professional education, training, professional memberships, and experience. Analysts subscribe to the ethics and standards of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and all are members of their local AIMR societies. The AIMR requires that to be a member, an analyst must have passed the first level of the CFA exam, or demonstrated equivalent job experience. The AIMR has stated that individuals receiving any level of certification in their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program are qualified to review and value public companies. The Dutton & Associate analysts, all being members of the AIMR, with most holding the CFA designation, meet this qualification. Dutton & Association analysts are paid in advance to eliminate pecuniary interests and insure independence. Each analyst has contractually agreed to not own or trade in any securities issued by companies they follow, nor to receive any other fees or compensation from these companies. Dutton & Associates has also precluded employees of the firm from owning or trading shares of any company covered by our analysts.
